Every time you perpetuate the much over-blow issue of fragmentation you tend to do it. Pretty much any time you guys have an article denouncing some aspect of Android, its described as a problem on the whole, without actually pointing out the causes behind it.

Except this is not Android's fault, its the fault of the OEMs.

See my reply to Zeuxis...

You are right, I worded that poorly. The devs do get iOS earlier than users. Android devs just get it MUCH earlier than end-users. The larger ecosystem is the justifiable reason why.

And its ALWAYS been the intention. The Nexus line, as has been stated before, was meant to be a role model for Android. Its not Googles fault that the OEMs only saw the bad-ass hardware aspect of it. Its not Googles fault that OEMs continue to fuck up stock Android and cause hardware delays.

Try reading my comment again... OR try reading into how the update model works in the Linux community. Now are there cases of OEMs holding out on updates to push new hardware? YEs, Yes there are. Is that Googles fault? No, No its not. This is the consumers fault. You never put your hand on a hot stove twice... unless

Funny this seems to be an ongoing debate, but the ones doing all the yelling dont seem to have the backing of the community at large. Including Linus himself, who claimed that the GPL violations aimed at Android were "totally bogus".

THIS!

"But with the iPhone, not only does the convenience of the App Store and iTunes syncing of apps across accounts and devices discourage pirating immensely"

No I do not agree.

The video is in fact DRM locked, which sucks. I cant say that the Android Playstore is any better as its the same there and is tied to your account, though I bet Google would be happy to offer a video player on an iPhone would Apple allow.

Requesting a teen today to read from actual PAPER... How quaint. ;ºP

Ok, for some reason I was working under the assumption that iTunes movies no longer had DRM, same as their Mp3's. Color me surprised that not even Apple could get the media studios to budge on DRM removal. Then again, Apple might not be trying too hard either, as Video has kind of taken over as a prominent aspect of

Do you buy the shows or rent them? Android is perfectly capable of mp4 playback.

"If he was a bloody mess wouldn't you expect people to be looking at him? "

Yes, its almost as if Giz planned this response... ;ºP

Holy Balls... Why does Giz hate Plex so much. I think you guys secretly dislike the fact that they left being an Apple only mediaplayer.

That's actually a little boy in red... You just made his nightmare worse. Way to go!

Well, looks like I was right... http://xbmc.org/theuni/2012/07/13/xbmc-for-android/

You know what even cooler than a photobooth app?
