I agree with this. As someone that uses all of the major OS's, I of course have Win7 installed and in use. When I first gave the voice dictation AND navigation a whirl, my thoughts were, "Wow, thats pretty neat". Then I turned off the feature and never used it again.
I really dont believe that people's ears "perk up" when you mention Siri, at least not after they have used it for a short period of time. Siri, while not a ONE trick pony, doesn't really have too many other tricks up her sleeve to speak of. Even the update, I feel still leaves me wanting more. If Google Now catches…
Come on Sam... How is this ANY different from dictation that has shipped with Windows for a bit now, or even better 3rd party software such as Dragon? Neither of these two softwares have "killed the keyboard" and Apple's stab at it wont either.
I disagree to an extent... Sure there are likely those that that hold him up, same as they would for anyone thats in the pirating scene. It think its unfair however to lump that group into the same group that trumpets IP change, I think it would be more fair to say that the pirate group has latched onto the IP group.
