That said, the plot of what some call Avatar 2 is simple enough:

Glad somebody pointed this out. Gizmodo/Jalopnik has the anti-Elon stick too far up their butt to ever print a retraction though.

There’s an out of context quote from the NOAA’s updated overview on global warming and hurricanes that’s doing the rounds and getting fixated on as proof by those who are already convinced that things are fine and the media is in cahoots with Big Gubmint™ or some such:

Not everyone there thinks like that. And ‘choosing’ to live somewhere often comes down to where you are born - and how upwardly mobile a person or their family is. A lot of people living all over the U.S. rarely get much opportunity to even visit other places - much less move to other places

Here’s an idea: stop using Twitter.

Quibble all you want about Musk, but you guys get that providing Starlink availability is a thing that potentially -helps- democracy, right? Like literally it means that local governments can’t fire-wall off their people. It’s a net good thing, even if you don’t like the guy providing it. Just play the chess game out

All these woke journalist on here salivating to trash Musk any chance they get. You are the people that makes a people like Musk or Rogan who have always voted Democrat turn republican with all your fake social justice. All you with the woke mind virus will just tilt the elections into the republicans hands. Bunch of d

I agree with all of this. Avatar became this safe target for derision because of its initial hype and its financial success, but people’s constant hyperbole about how bad or forgettable it is mostly comes off as performed cynicism.

At this point, “FernGully” is only remembered by Avatar detractors, and I’ll happily swap banshees vs helicarriers and mechas over Robin Williams’ dry run for Genie.

Thanks to many of you for showing me that people who are actually upset by this are stunted in more ways than just physical height.

Created by editor and video producer Justin T. Brown, the clip uses mash-ups of both Sanders’ and Musk’s appearances on Rogan’s podcast and subverts them into its own convincing three-and-a-half-minute feature with Sanders’ playing the role of host.

Much of this is due to a sense of absolutism. Chappelle is making fun of a group, (and IMHO going way too far) that demands an absolute adherence to a single unwavering view on a topic that is, at best, difficult to follow, let alone understand for many people. Chappelle takes a view that compares the relative

Yep UST is a game changer, this article is kind of already outdated lol

The big reactor failures all involved first-, or second-generation reactors designed in the ‘60s. There were also significant quality issues; Several GE engineers resigned at the time rather than be associated with the Fukushima installation of their reactor. The Chernobyl accident happened because test engineers

I see a lot of people online recently complaining about the injustices of private prisons and prison labor. I don’t believe these people actually know much about corrections. Most prisons are government-run, not private. Most prisoners feel that working is a positive thing as they want to keep themselves busy and

I actually work with convicts in a clean-room; allow me to clarify how this works.

I’ve never actually had the servers go down in 5 years of use.

Missing one:

“This. Luke wouldn’t do that. You could still have him fail in a myriad of ways, but he wouldn’t contemplate killing Kylo. He would at least try to save him.”

“I can always forgive cheesy lines in pop-culture films. It’s not like the original trilogy wasn’t filled with them. Its amazing though what the filter in the memory of our youth can forgive.
