As I manage a global team in a global org, I’m very comfortable with specifying times zones (and dates) very clearly in all communication.

Driving smaller vehicles, getting off your phone, and putting down the (legal) bong would all help.

You really think someone who lives in a place like that would be doing oil changes on their driveway?

Yukon already got rid of time changes, so it’s likely that BC will be close behind.

A friend of mine was T-boned by a driver that ran a stop sign. Her 2 year old Yukon Denali was totaled and five people in her vehicle had to go to the ER. The at-fault driver had Minnesota state minimum liability insurance which is $10,000 for property and $60k max for injury.

A 69 year old high school janitor was killed by a hit and run driver just outside my town on Monday night. It was the day before his 70th birthday.

The Navy paints ships haze grey to make them harder to see. Obviously cars aren’t (usually) driving on the ocean - but it seems like a bad idea to paint them a color that is deliberately hard to see.

Two kids and two dogs, you’ll do fine with a Prius or a Bolt.  If you need to tow your house every day of the week, you’ll need a big truck.  But you should be taxed and licensed appropriately for driving such an oversize vehicle.
