A small minority of full size trucks get used for towing heavy loads anywhere close to the max. An even smaller minority (mostly people towing large camping trailers or fifth wheels) are used to tow for long distances.

I would think that it is most of them. I was “overloading” in the 1980s and 90s before it was called that. What that meant was driving along dirt roads or trails (usually in BLM or National Forest land) to get closer to mountain bike or hiking trails, climbing areas, or simply to be in the wilderness. I (and my…
Came to say exactly the same thing. Subscription for something that improves over time, sure. Subscription to keep a physical feature turned on - GTFOH
That’s Tata’s bargaining chip. On many levels it would make more sense to have the factory in Spain and in the EU. Data knows that the UK government is desperate to try and get something out of the Brexit disaster and will fork over the cash and then claim that this means the UK is once again a world-leading…
So secure that you couldn’t pay for food you needed.
Having owned two Toyota 4x4 trucks and a 4Runner of around the same age - all of which ended up on their roof or side during off-road adventures, please learn from my mistakes: That is *way* too much weight up way too high for the suspension.
House shopping is similar - tell the realtor you are looking for a house $200-250,000 and they will show you houses that are listed at $260-320,000.
You must be young. We were all paying >10% in the 1980s even with great credit.
You are averaging too much. Most people will have one or two accidents (I’ve been driving 40+ years and have had 3 or 4 in that time that would meet their definition). But I know people who have 10, 15, 20 or more in less time behind the wheel.
True.
My dad *thought* he had done the same. But when he died (at the age of 50), the med school turned down the donation with no explanation and so we were left to scramble and make arrangements (and pay).
“We can’t stop our cops from killing people, so we are just going to ask them not to do part of their job any more”.
As an owner of a 7' tall vehicle (with the rack), I’m now very aware that the maximum height of most parking garages is 6'6" to 6'9". I can live with it, but it takes extra planning
Soon to be used for driving to lacrosse practice and buying roofies in the nearest big cities by all the flat brim bros who currently drive F150 raptors near me.
Super reliable, super easy to fix. They’ve been everywhere in Siberia and Kamchatka for decades.
Here’s the trick for that - don’t cancel, move the reservation to 2-3 weeks out. Then cancel a week later (but still a week in advance of the rescheduled stay)
I did the math for myself when it looked like JLR would make the PHEV engine available in the Defender (they have not in the US, yet).
Funny you should say that because I am a trouble-free owner. As are two of my best friends from college. As are many of my friends and neighbors.
The JD Power “reliability” data that rates a “stereo is difficult to use because I don’t read manuals” exactly the same as “engine seized after ten miles”?
