She doesn’t sound any different than any other Top 40 radio performer. It’s one more forgettable performance that you might hear while shopping at Forever 21.

Every time something like this posted on Jezebel, I can’t figure out the perspective of the writer because the featured songs all sound the same and identical to the songs that are supposed to be good.

This is the vibe I’ve been seeing for the past few years. So many people don’t get that adult life starts a lot sooner for people who don’t have parents to pay their way.

If Bobby Finger invited me to watch him stumble through writing his articles, I would still be his #1 Not Fan.

Isn’t this a positive story for Jezebel considering the hate for vegetarian/vegan diets and everyone claiming they would die without their chicken nuggets?

You didn’t directly address anything that I said nor did that other person. You both took it in a different direction and made assumptions about my identity, experience, and intention. I didn’t “miss the point ... that other may raise new ones.” I understand that and agree with those positions you raised. However,

You don’t own the conversation, either. Nor all the experiences of men and women in the workplace. I’m not speaking in dog whistles or bad faith and I don’t care to run through insufficient and problematic exemptions of “decent men” or “good men who don’t need rules” (to quote other commenters) before being able to

You still seem to think I’m disagreeing with you and that I don’t know this.

No. You are arguing about something I’m not discussing just as the other person did as well. I am not dismissing sexual harassment in the workplace. It exists. It is prevalent. I have experienced it. My colleagues have experienced it. Sexual harassment in the work place is a major problem that needs to end.

That’s not what he’s arguing.

It really amazes me that so much of the conversation here is about people protecting themselves by creating space and rules to avoid misinterpretation, and then someone jumping the gun and misinterpreting a statement/intention thus replicating the problem that induces the desire for space and rules.

You seem to be arguing about something that I’m not discussing and you’re approaching this like I disagree with you: I don’t.

You’re responding to something I’m not arguing.

This does happen to “decent men.”

Oh really? This doesn’t exist on a spectrum of behavior and concerns?

I think many of you are really missing what is being reported: this is the equivalent of “your barista isn’t flirting wth you. She’s paid to be nice.” Men don’t know what to do and don’t want to lose their jobs because someone misconstrued some very normal interactions (we aren’t talking about about dudes throwing

You’re like a wrecking ball of bad information.

The term “deep-state” goes further than Turkish politics. Also, not conspiratorial in any traditional sense.

I see. Essentialism. Thanks.

We are still talking about people participating in culture that is designed by producers, advertisement, and investors. None of this stuff is real no matter how much you want to pretend it is.
