Literary if you use the word in a very loose way.

There are more efficient ways to write a review that covers those subjects. That review is just bad writing.

I don’t regularly read these blogs but maybe you could fill me in: Who coddled and enabled this guy into thinking he should write reviews like this?

You know, I’ve never really noticed a substantial quality difference between black and grey comments. The only difference is the appeal to status, profundity and legitimacy that approved commenters demand.

I know this is going to be mind blowing to you: a lot of people in bands who have records are not in the music industry. People will spend their own money to release their own music and the intention is never to make a career out of it. It’s just something to do.

Just out of curiosity: Why are people framing the knock-out as the result of anti-fascists tracking down the dude instead of a random dude knocking him out (which is what happened)?

With Rich and a few other writers here, I’m always questioning why they keep writing. I’m not even sure how they got a job in writing because the content is consistently at the level of the internet’s most middling comment section.

You’re totally right about the content here. Insipid is exactly what Jezebel is.

Your average viewer and Jezebel commenter is not going to get that. They are going to be much more concerned about what is totally icky and gross (!) because they are very much in the business of enforcing bourgeois morality.
