I’m not exactly well-versed in the details of the history of the Hitler Youth, but I believe those groups started as Hitler and the Nazis rose to power in Germany. Naturally, Trump is merely trying to inherit an existing group of Boy Scouts in America and co-opt them as his youth cult.
