I get a kick out of people who put their bags at the front of the plane while they go to the back, especially those with a laptop. Makes you want to take their bag and dump it in a trash can when you exit the plane for being a douchebag.

When did Pastor Maldonado become a pilot?

Obligatory:

Typical SF - they fight against stores that bring business (and taxes) while actively bringing in tech companies that don’t pay a dime in taxes. All the time talking up how had “big box stores” are. Then we get a bunch of Target stores all over the place (smaller but still...). That’s why I drive south to Colma and

Macro photography and tilt-shift lenses FTW! Love the creativity.

I had a colleague who had a rare Porsche (I forget the model offhand). He got pulled over by the same damn cop a couple of times over a week where the cop looked at it and said “Nice car”. No ticket though. He changed his route accordingly as he got sick of it.

I had a CHP do that along south 280 to San Jose one day. I don’t know what was going on, but he was tailgating one car, flew across a couple of lanes with no warning, then rode my ass for half a mile. I was in the 3rd lane going 65 too, so it wasn’t any issue with speeding.

I’ve experienced this in LA. I was flying at 85 and still had people running up on my rear bumper. I just moved over and let them continue - it wasn’t worth risking any road rage, especially there.

If you define collaboration as “yelling across a room” then yeah, we had that at one company. It was so damn loud I couldn’t get anything done. I was so glad to leave that dump. Mind you I work in an open office now, but I get to work with great co-workers.

Depending on your situation, you can make it as good as possible, and then consider leaving if there are really bad issues. I draw the line when it’s affecting my health - period. There’s no negotiation on that. Stress and other physical ailments are terrible. Definitely gently push back and see where you can make it

I work in an open office. All I can say is thank God for noise-cancelling headphones that cut most of the local noise. We also have some small rooms we can run into for getting some work done in quiet, which has been very helpful.

That match was insane. Loved every damn minute of it. Went down to literally the final kick of the season.

Well done! Helen Reddy would be proud!

This is especially true for ORD. For some reason I ALWAYS ended up having to go from the end of one concourse to the other.

Love your idea.

“What Can Brown Do For You?”

I was thinking the same thing.

Many years ago their attitide was “if you don’t like our cars go elsewhere”.

One of my favorite clips!
