Japan has a very good team, and badly under-rated.

Time for company executives to be sent to jail for this crap. This is getting old.

Depends on the house condition. Some places are really bad, or require a lot of maintenance. Make a list of items that need fixing/replacement, along with a time table of when it needs to get done. We did that to budget for items, and a new roof last year.

Nice reference to “Keeping Up Appearances”! Well done!

Beat me to it! You get a star!

Spot on - when we were looking for houses in SF, we saw one listed for $850K, but it needed another $150K in work! Ridiculous. Thankfully we ended up with a reasonably good home that didn’t require a whole lot to be worked on.

Agreed - I worked as a technical support rep for 2 years at a software company. If I were in charge, I would require every software engineer to spend 2 weeks working in tandem with the TS reps so they can get a better appreciation of their work and the bullshit they put up with.

Now playing

I lever get tired of Michelle Jenneke - shake dat ass!

That game was a complete train wreck for Argentina. They played like shit.

I make my own bread, salad dressing, vegetable broth, and tomato sauce. You save a lot of money and I can control what goes into it. My wife loves it.

I’ve done this before. Works out very well.

Russia has played two shitty teams, so no surprise there. Let’s see them against a real team and see what happens.

Safeway is pretty high in general. When I compare the amount of food I get vs. Trader Joes it’s not even close.

Between Trader Joes and the local farmer’s market, I never go to Whole Paycheck unless I have no choice.

As a Gen-X person, this is how I feel:

Thank you for posting! First thing that came to mind!

I always rinse canned beans multiple times in a colander because of this. Makes a huge difference.

Iceland is inferior? Ask England. They’re very capable of playing well, just how they did with Argentina, who should’ve kicked their ass.

I wish more players did this.
