That scale is pretty bad. It’s not consistent. You start from a range of .9% and then you end up with 25% range. I’d like to see more granularity in this.

I can vouch for your friend’s problem. Bart has never been bike friendly in their history (I remember getting yelled at when I was young) even when following their rules. You can forget it during commute hour, and depending on where you’re heading the bus isn’t a good option either.

My parents had a trip to Canada cut short when my dad had to go to the local hospital for an emergency. They were pretty good about it there, and after a bit of back and forth the insurance they got reimbursed. Yes, they ended up paying up front but they got all of the documentation.

Google Maps is the first place I go to when looking at a company. I check driving and transit options at various times of the day including the commute hours so I can get an idea of what to reasonably expect.
