I would focus on the 401k plans too. Many of these student loan programs are not much more than PR. I looked into a couple of them just for giggles and noticed that the loan repayment benefits are minimal at best. That money would be better used towards a 401k for long-term investment value.

Nice list - as someone who cooks a lot at home it’s nice to be able to control the sodium, as you often get a ton of salt in one serving when you eat out. Reduced balsamic vinegar works very well for some nice intense flavor, along with shiitake mushroom broth.

The PAC12 has been a complete shit show so far this bowl season. Stanford came damn close outside of getting burned on two trick plays and a bad interception to end the game.

Ah yes - the critical mess folks. These people give all cyclists a bad name. That particular episode was really bad. The folks taunting the guy in the station wagon were lucky the driver didn’t come out with a machine gun.

We’re doing that right now - pretty much most people who own a home in CA will be paying over $10K in property tax per year. The tax deduction makes a huge difference for many who bought recently with higher housing prices.
