The police are so polite and composed. Nice change of pace from what we see here in California.

I’ve actually seen that picture - woman driving 3 kids in the back while steering with her knees, juggling cereal and a cell phone. Another person was doing a conference call on 280 at 80+, while holding some papers across the fucking steering wheel while writing! I couldn’t see the damn steering wheel.

Sounds like DSLR time to me! Happy shooting!

Sounds like that bridge in NC that has it’s own web site.

I was driving on 101 north of San Francisco when I was coming up on a truck. It had those wood panels for walls, and one came off and smack into the windshield of a Subaru ahead of me. The wood panel exploded into a million pieces. This was at 60 too, and thankfully the folks weren’t hurt. I ended up dodging small

Fuck Thursday Night Football - those are usually shit games to start with and are virtually unwatchable. I’ll just stick with college football.

You get a star!

How is that different from football, outside of the top speed? They manage just fine.

I’m sure there are plenty of other instances of this that have happened, only without as much notoriety. I remember years ago there was a case of one person stealing IP from Cadence (company that makes software for chip design) to start up a competitor. They were eventually caught.

Just enough of a tap from the defender on the ball to throw off the play. Otherwise it would’ve been an easy tap in.

Damn - all the more reason to be on the inside of a turn. Good thing the tree was big enough to stop the car.

I miss that show - I really wish they brought it back. It was great to watch the family reunions, and many cases were solved during the show because people called in.

I used to work for various wineries while in undergrad. I got to see multiple facets of how wineries work.

Depends on the neighbors - if they’re wine drinkers they probably would look down at you. Then again, I wouldn’t care in the first place.

Honda has a LOT of their cars built in Ohio. They design and build most of their engines there, and also build Civics, Accords and many Acura cars including the NSX. My old Integra on the other hand came direct from Suzuka Japan.

Chicago to Oakland if I’m correct I only took it from Galesburg Illinois to winter park colorado

I’ve done my share of 32 to 64-but migrations. The libraries are almost always the weakest link that prevent you from doing the conversion. Yeah it sucks but that’s the way it is. I always build 64-bit by default and have done so for several years.

Most of the Amtrak trains have observation lounges where you can hang out and enjoy the scenery. I did this on the California Zephyr
