Some companies don’t give out salary information because that’s a competitive advantage. If they give away their salary ranges then competitors can poach their staff.

I’ve had a couple of those myself where I ended up colliding with the goalie. Sometimes it just happens. Hell, once I ended up scoring and found myself in the net after I got checked from behind.

I always cancel when I know I can’t make it to a restaurant. They appreciate it. I’ve had a lot of hosts thank me when I call since it opens up a slot for someone else, especially for busy or popular restaurants.

I only had that once - they were able to clear it up quickly. I figure most people don’t bother.

I usually bring enough toiletries to get going, and if I need something I just buy it from a local store. If I’m staying at a hotel I just use the small bottles they provide on my travel, and also save them for future trips.

I saw two Uber self driving cars yesterday in downtown SF. I gave both of them plenty of room and stayed away just in case. Both had two people inside though - probably one to handle anything driving related and an engineer on the side.

Most lenses max at sharpness at f/8 and get worse the higher you go. Depending on the lens you can reach max sharpness by f/4, like my Canon 135 f/2.
