As a owner of a couple of Hondas, I concur! Give those damn engineers credit - they always managed to wedge parts Tetris style such that you could never get enough torque to do anything!

Agreed - near my house they “repaved” a section of road that was so bad that it looked like it was from a war zone. Then they finally came in later to repave it a second time.

Don’t forget the sky-high compensation plans for “administrators” who do nothing all day, while screwing over the faculty with no raises for years on end.

More theater - this is really about money. There’s a new Open Skies agreement and the US airlines are all pissed off because the airlines based in the Middle East are highly subsidized by their governments.

I worked for several wineries in undergrad working in bottling lines and a couple of years doing harvest work. It was 12 hour days 6 days a week - great wages for paying college, especially when you worked 2 months or so and got a nice paycheck.

Spot on - its especially a problem to get a cab if you live west of Stanyan Street. Some areas aren’t readily accessible by Muni, and they don’t like going out to the outer neighborhoods in general, let alone when a major conference like Dreamforce is on. Then it’s impossible.
