Nice angle breaker there. Give the player 7/10 on the slide.

Just what I was thinking!

Ah yes - the inflatable bike “helmet” that fires off when detecting a potential fall. Pretty cool.

A colleague works at Lyft. Pretty much similar company but better from a cultural standpoint. They’ve been smart to keep their noses clean and watch Uber implode from the sidelines.

Thanks for the link. A lot of people don’t realize that non compete clauses are unenforceable in CA. There’s not much an employer can do besides whine about losing a key employee. I wonder how that would continue for “poaching” people from a company to a new one.

What a write up. Great job and sense of perspective of how everything came about. I loved that rivalry with Detroit and Colorado. We need more of that.

I love it! Pink with black livery - awesome! I would drive that car with a big fat smile on my face!

Glassdoor can provide some useful information, but I’m always skeptical about it since it’s self reported and those numbers are easily messed with. I generally give a range with the caveat, “depending on the entire benefits package”. For my salary requirements, I would also include commute distance, culture, the type

I see a lot of that on the east 380 exit from south 280 going to SFO airport. A lot of people will cause multiple lanes to stop because they think they’re so important. The CHPs would make a killing on tickets every weekday morning.

This came from the 2010 inline roller speed skating championship. Here’s a link to the video:

I respect that he waited before celebrating. He wasn’t rude to the guy next to him, he thought that it was still on and just wanted to be sure it was over. At least he reached out to him afterwards.

My wife would tell me to get a new car.

In my experience it’s quite high - especially if I’m on the flight. :)

This immediately popped into my head. Sorry about the potato camera quality - it’s an old clip from the Jamie Kennedy show.

Before I met me wife, I was dating a woman in southern California for a while. That required one of us to either drive 6+ hours or fly. Southwest was easier since it was a 1 hour flight. We made it work (at least for a while anyway) since both of us were in grad school at the time at different schools.

RSX? Seriously? That was a crappy replacement for the Integra. A coworker had one and hated its performance and reliability he got a BMW Z3

Well done!

TSX is a steaming POS. Never an option and way overpriced for what you get.

Sadly necessary.....no it was not my first choice either but I didn’t like the other options out on the market.
