I agree with you, and I appreciate this rallying cry. I don’t think the future of game accessibility is a subscription model or even one supported by ads, though. Games have so much to offer in terms of replaybility, experimentation, the ability to pickup and play for awhile before setting down for however long and…
Such few words to show that you missed the point.
A few years ago I wanted to play through SNATCHER, and it really put emulation into perspective for me, even though I’d been doing it for years. The only western release of SNATCHER was on the Sega CD in 1994, and the only legitimate physical copies of the game are listed on ebay for $500-$600. Obviously that’s an…
“Ifgame publishers could continue to pursue consumers where they are, rather than where they’d like them to be, we could get to a point where complaining about ROMs sounds as quaint as complaining about Napster.”
Justifying stealing is pretty easy really. There are a ton of times when it’s immoral not to steal, this isn’t new. But I think describing the specifics here can still be helpful so that ROMs aren’t just seen as a cheapskate’s way to play a game for free but rather for archival purposes.
No need to defend.
President Donald Trump has once again denounced journalists as being the “enemies of the American people.” And once…
I think AngryGames’ goal was to point out that this particular group’s idols would actually hate them to their very core and the complete idiocy of the current breed of nazi’s ignorance to that fact.
Cops don’t arrest coworkers, even if they’re off duty.
One good thing about displaying themselves in public is that many of them who are doxxed are losing their jobs, spouses, families, etc, because no one wants to associate with them anymore. There’s a very interesting piece on Slate about how outing the Neo-Nazis and throwing them off their mainstream platforms has…
Well the mainstream media did most of the heavy lifting when it started calling them “alt-right” and writing a thousand toothless think-pieces about how normal and clean-cut they are.
Is anyone else as “shocked” as I am that nazi rallies get protection from law enforcement while at BLM rallies law enforcement incites the violence?
Keeping up with this on Twitter. So far, looks like less than 60 nazis vs a couple thousand Americans.
Hey, racist neo-Nazis have to eat, too. But those attending the “Unite the Right 2” white supremacist rally in…

As long as single payer is kept at the federal level vs a hodgepodge of 50 different versions it should be a much easter pill for everyone to swallow. I know it has to be much cheaper taxwise to pay for this than the $500/pay period my current company currently charges for family coverage.
