I love this. If your boss won’t let you take time off from work to vote (yes, they’re supposed to but...), then voting by mail is an excellent option. I hate those states that require in-person voting AND designate voting day to be some random weekday like Tuesday.

Difference is, in Oregon, everyone is vote by mail. You just get ballot in the mail, and there’s no polling place to go to.

Republicans want to have as many white people voting as possible and as few black and Latino people (I know you know that). They just have to use doublespeak to get that.

My mum back in the day found out their PTA money was going towards initiatives nationally to ban books in libraries. She dismantled it and formed an individual PTO. She fought the good fights.

They are usually for financing things the school needs but aren’t going to be in the actual budget. For all the yelling we do here in America about being better than everyone else, we don’t have a lot to show for it particularly in regards to our schools!
