But did they play Fly by Night?

I thought she was pretty amusing in WW’s fish out of water stuff, but there were also some line readings that were genuinely cringe-worthy.

Mark Hamill fits there as well, although he learned some craft decades later. “I’m not an actor, I’m a movie star” isn’t always a complaint.

Bland? Yeah kinda. Perfect for Wonder Woman? Hands-down. In that way, she’s a bit like Christopher Reeve - limited as hell, but in the role where it really counts, she sells it in a way even talented actors probably couldn’t.

hey remember when there was always a long thread that started with Rocky going #CancellJost and Dennis Perkins would say “Rocky.” and Rocky would say “Perkins” and other folk would get in on it and maybe Whovian would pop in and disparage hashtags?

What is it with Youtube/Internet celebrities and turning out to be assholes?

I think part of the point is that they don’t care what the woman wants.

We are long overdue for a serious delousing of geekdom. The most toxic parts of it have to go

It’s always been populated with pervs, it’s just in the last decade or so, being a “geek” has become mainstream and okay for people to declare themselves geeks about this or that.

This could be a featured column, where people write in about things related to people and companies covered in Newswire, and a staff writer provides commentary.

I’ll hold out judgement until someone actually comes forward.

Apparently the way they drive cars is particularly humourous, especially when compared to how black men drive them.

No, they are HIRING pretty people so they rub all up on them.

Because “success=money=power=pussy” is how men have been raised for a very, very long time.

Exactly. They’re taking jobs from pretty people!

HAHA, I ONCE GOT FIRED BY DEFY MEDIA!

Maybe that’s what Youtube Red is for.

Yeah I know, who would have thought that people who crave attention, fame, and/or money would turn out to be terrible people?

People completely unprepared for fame and money basically. They become all about “interacting with the community” and they end up going on power trips and thinking they can do what they want. Same thing happens in Hollywood I guess, but they have agents to help smooth things over and cover stuff up.

*weary sigh*...
That’s really all I can say about this. What is it with Youtube/Internet celebrities and turning out to be assholes?
It’s been a while since I’d watched this series, but I used to quite like them. Oh well.
