That's a second generation 900, which is properly called new generation 900 if you know anything about Saabs. That car spawned the forst generation 9-3. The car you call third gen 900 is a second generation 9-3. It seems to me your knowledge of Saabs is poor, and it shows.

Parts for these are easy to find if you know where to look. Not in your local NAPA parts store, but the internet has made it easier to get parts for obscure cars.
