Yes, northeast Minas is very much the same as Goiás.

I wish they would stop pulling out the safety car bullshit excuse and just go ahead, be honest and say the truth that the importation law is made to ensure large corporations don't get shafted out of new car profits. That was the main drive to Mercedes Benz and Porsche to lobby for this law over three decades ago.…
They are VW-like, usually with lower specs or older tech, but materials are typical VW.
100% Brazil. I would venture to narrow it down to the states of Goiás or Tocantins, due to the accents.

I miss THAT from being a crew chief. Awesome flights like that. I have done dozens like this in California, Arizona and Nevada, seems like a life time ago. What I don't miss is crashing. That is never fun, and the reason I don't go on joy rides like that anymore.
Just hope you don't ever have to replace that thing. It looks more expensive than a Ford Fiesta.
Oh, and I love the Espace, especially the older ones.

Sorry, but little the Renault Espace isn't. It's not as big as the minivans made today, but it's as big as anything America made in the late 80s.
Also one that is quite often featured on the front page.
Sure, but once is on the main page, does it make a difference?
And that other post in Jalopnik today said SUVs were safer...
As a helicopter mechanic and having seen all the FOD awareness videos I could care for, all I can think is "what the fuck? Really?" Yes, he's damn lucky.
Still an ugly way to deal with aerodynamics.
