The engine is great, and wouldn't be anything similar to DayZ if it were made in one of those engines. And it never will be. There is a reason it was chosen. It is realistic, period.

Just play it, and enjoy it. Labels don't matter. Unless you are completely avert to teaming up every blue moon for a group instance (which isn't necessary in this game), you'll still enjoy it and see most everything is has to offer. The story is better than most any modern SP game I've played.

The game only costs $30. That is the definition of reasonable. And the game is integral to the mod (go figure).
