I'll be sure to make a stand against root beer culture in the future, and direct dissenters to your arguments! Thanks for the help in understanding that literally every choice one makes in life can be made into a "marginalized group" if I can just find a couple people that are mean to someone who makes that choice.

So we're back to the [citation needed]. If your only proof is some people are mean/dismissive about not eating meat, then my previous examples stand - root beer culture and jeans culture must be a thing. If you don't agree that those are a thing, then your logical argument doesn't stand without further proof.

What are you even talking about? Did you forget how to words? This reply makes no sense in the context of my comment. Although it is nice to see you've fallen back on the traditional "avoiding the question" tactic taken when you don't actually have anything to back yourself up.

Last night my boyfriend was playing this mode and died and said "man, this is broken!" I just stared at him until he realized how dumb that statement was.

Wow, I didn't think the first comment in this thread could get any more smug.

You're claiming because some old people are sexist/racist/homophobic and some old people think people should eat meat, therefore "meat culture" is a thing? Really? So you must also think that mothball culture is a thing, and early bird dinner culture is a thing. Since the same people that "would slut shame, think gay

Notice how the OP didn't once say anything about the animals, except to talk about how she's treated for feeling a certain way? She only talked about her having to smell it, hear people talk about it, and see ads about it. She then went on to talk about how difficult it is to be a vegetarian in our culture. Don't be

In a...in a pot pie?? Why?!

She literally wrote a whole comment comparing the two and talking about how similar they are, agreeing with someone saying meat culture is like patriarchy. You can't really get more clear than that; unless you have her somewhere outside of this thread saying that it's not actually like patriarchy and discussing the

I'm not saying that every person that is fat is more concerned with their weight than people who are "average" or skinny, just that the correlation between diet soda and weight has the same problem as this study, with a self-selecting sample you have no idea how something actually affects the general population.

It is ridiculous because she is using that term to bring to mind rape culture and the marginalization of women, implying that she is similarly discriminated against because she's a vegetarian (which she flat-out said later in the thread). To compare servers rolling your eyes at you to the systematic, global oppression

I have no opinions on vegetarians, but the phrase "meat culture" is hilarious (and comparing it to patriarchy is downright hilarious/infuriating). You are not a marginalized group because you made a dietary choice that isn't common. Saying cooking meat smells delicious is not a slur or attack on vegetarianism, jesus.

Why would it take away? The point of allowing people in there that aren't really vegan but interested in the lifestyle is to convince them it's a good idea and help them get started, you know?

This study is the same as saying people that drink Diet Coke are fatter than people that drink full-flavor Coke - duh, the reason people drink Diet Coke is for less calories, so people that drink it are people that care about their weight a lot, and are more likely to be fatter!

You're making my point for me, dude.

I can't believe in all my dollar menu McDonald's runs I've never tried this.

The reason the mile-high club is a thing is because of all the other people right there, isn't it? This reminds me of when people buy DIY models already put together - the whole point of the model is the joy in building it! Money ruins everything.

The person I'm thinking about has something about glitch pokemon in their username. Did a bit of research and realized I'm talking about Missingno. Master, who argues things like "glitch Pokemon are harmless, it's just the moves that they use that are harmful" and I seem to remember somewhere that he was arguing that

It's almost like you didn't read my comment whatsoever - it didn't have to get to that point. It shouldn't have gotten to that point. Putting that hypothetical forward as the only way the situation could have gone is intentionally ignoring all the ways that the problem could have been solved before the hiring, by
