Feminism is not bad. Implying all men are somehow evil and discriminatory is.

*facepalm* Oh my god, it's like you guys don't pay attention to anything on Kotaku.

That wasn't my point. Patricia Hernandez has been going crazy with all kinds of feminist rhetoric, and seeing an article from a site for "girl geeks" is not a sign to me that she has any intention of being inclusive or fair to any male readers. Of course multiplayer harassment exists, though - that's why I prefer

Not sure which show you're talking about, but I'll say that Archer is a "spiritual successor" to Frisky Dingo, of sorts. It's got a lot of the same crew working or it, it's got a similar animation style, and it's got similar humour. I haven't watched Frisky Dingo in years though, so beyond that, I can't really say.

Clearly you have no interest in metal or gore horror, then. That's cool, you can keep watching 7th Heaven or whatever other "lite" shows you're into.

"A guide to girl geek culture".

Probably because it's Canadian, and only aired on a specialty satellite channel in the US. :P Space (Canada's version of SyFy) was producing and airing it, but they cancelled it after two seasons, despite it being one of the most-watched Canadian shows ever produced.

Todd is what happens when you mix comedy, heavy metal, and gore horror. It's amazing.

Shows like Arrested Development, Family Guy and Futurama have all come back from the grave... Todd is better than all of those. I bought both seasons on DVD (well, won Season 2, actually, on a Facebook draw done by the publisher) and will buy any cool merch that comes along. It seems like the following for this show

Just wanna chime in and say that Archer is probably both one of the best shows on TV and one of the least-appreciated. If you haven't watched it, you should. Be sure to watch them in order though: I initially hated it, watching random episodes on TV, but it's actually amazing if you see the overarching plot unfold.

Anyone else completely and totally bored of the Star Wars franchise? Like... You had your run, now you're old and miserable. Retire, settle down, and embrace your place in the media hall of fame.

National TV? Maybe not. Internet streaming and availability on services like Netflix? Absolutely yes.

I feel like Keiji Eno is one of those people I'd love to sit down and have a five-hour chat with. He was a great personality in the world of gaming, and his death was entirely too early.

"Cynics will say that the instinct to get pageviews is simply what won out,"

Good thing to see, to be sure, but I'm inclined to think just about every demographic that isn't a steroid-popping body builder or tiny-brained supermodel is underrepresented in gaming.

I understand it just fine. But there are positive and negative ways of talking about, say, gender issues. A positive way is to profile a prolific female game developer. A negative way is to say "All those MEN at Sony are awful people!!!"

No, it's racist to say "That person's black" when they're also half-white. Think about it. Would anyone ever call Obama white, despite his mother being of European decent? No. There's latent racism in that - saying that because he's part black that he's only "black". The proper way to say it is that he is a person of

Entertainment is so much more harmful than putting a deadly weapon in the hands of a person with mental health problems (who will never get the help he needs because of the for-profit system in his country).

Oh wow. I'd always suspected Totilo of being an arrogant middle-schooler, but now I have proof.

I'd avoid using such aggressive language as "proof that god exists"... The click-baiting continues.
