Sega, what's going on? I had such a high opinion of you guys, now you're pulling shit like this and the Shining Force III thing.

Some people disagree with me, others do not. Did you ever stop and think that the world isn't black and white?

Way to not read any of the comments.

Dreamcast was in a similar boat to the PSP though. I don't think its games really had a wide appeal. The Saturn had tons of amazing games too, but do people blame ITS demise on piracy? Consoles come and go. Ease of piracy isn't really a factor... You forget just how prohibitively expensive burners were back then. And

So piracy is why the PSV is bombing too, right? And it's very obviously the sole reason why the N-Gage never took off.

Piracy =/= theft. The English language is hard, I know.

If it's not available to buy, it's not stealing. You're fucking dumb, b'y.

Well reviewers are paid off by the game companies, so they're not trustworthy. Also, I don't pirate a game if it was released within the last 5 years, so there's no lost sale. Also, I DO often taken advantage of Steam sales. We're talking about an indie game here - indie games being a genre composed mostly of crap. I

With the sales Steam has nowadays, very few. I'm more likely to wait a year or two and snag it for $10.

There's a huge difference there. A car, you can test drive it before you buy it. A game, you either take a gamble and buy it, or pirate it first to see what it's like. MOST games do not have demos, especially old ones. Moreover, a car uses real resources and goes through a real manufacturing process... All of it costs

Clearly not. I buy games that I probably would not have otherwise, if not for the ability to try them out first.

Pirating digital material =/= stealing. Dictionaries are there for a reason.

I buy far, far more than I pirate, little one.

It's not a big truck. It's... A series of tubes!

Yep. I'm such a dirtbag for spending far more money on games than the vast majority of the gaming world.

Hey, I'm not the problem - if I like a game, I go out of my way to buy it if it's either still being manufactured or available for digital distribution. I rarely buy used, unless it's from an actual store where the money will wind up with the developer in a round-about way.

It appears you are not old enough to understand common property sharing of early computing.

I agree. Obviously, pirating games while they're still being manufactured and sold at retail is wrong. New release digital distribution games are a grey area I don't personally indulge in. My rule is, at least 5 years old AND not currently being manufactured AND not current generation.

You're welcome.

You have no argument.
