Drove a caravan last weekend (needed a wheelchair van for mom). While I was impressed with the minivan form(8000 cf of fucking space back there!) the dodge ness of it sucked. I like the train stuff, so I read it a few times...but I skipped over the multi hour monologues...like you said, it’s a guy repeating the same thing over and over. Also, I love how those folks could,ignore pain, fatigue and hunger with no  loss of mental acuity...
