Many years ago, I took a nutrition class because I thought it would be of value. Instructor insisted that no matter what, we only needed 1200 calories.  Any questions was met with a head shake and “Nope, only 1200 calories.”  Frightening thing is that this class was required for the nursing curriculum.

And if they’re moving from SF to AZ they’re gonna be in for a big surprise...

However, the deceptive name of Tesla’s program has resulted in a common misconception that the car is capable of performing fully-autonomous maneuvers that can allow the driver to sleep, swap seats, or take their hands off the wheel for long periods of time.

Fuckin’ Damone...

I flinched when I saw the dummy’s head hit the roof...

Reason why I’m still pissed at HD. They could have spun Buell back off but they had to kill it instead.

Has anyone ridden a recent Bonnie?  I used to have a 2002 and while enjoyable, the handling wasn’t great...never did feel planted.  Wondered if Triumph ever sorted that out.

Roger Waters is going to read this and write a whole new verse to The Wall

I sometimes am too direct. I work on it, but after getting ignored/steamrolled for the 8th time, I tend to phrase things in a manner that rules out any ambiguity, or hiding from the truth.

I wonder if a good, used pop up trailer might be cheaper/easier.

The alternative is him facing the fact that he’s unawanted, unloved, unecessary, uninviting, unable...all the things his parents probably told him he was, growing up.  He can’t handle that reality.

Nice CB integration. Now, from what I remember, didn’t CB’s need a big antenna? Don’t see one on this.

So...V4?

The twins from The Shining

I’ve heard a more charitable explanation that the chronically late are over optimistic about how much time they have.  But I tend to agree with Phil, here.

Tortellini w/pesto?  That’s white the refined pallette for a “picky eater”!

For reference, when I got my license last year, it was about 120 hrs (a lot of that was due to me starting and stopping) averaging $200/hr, so $24K over 3 years (again, started and stopped). I scoped out a trip from Bay Area to Portland and figured that it was $1800 just for the plane.  Figured I’ll fly commercial

Newest plane I’ve flown was a 1998 Archer III.  Beyond that, all mid-80’s

OK, my experience is with Sundance. What club did you fly with? Do you still go up?

There was something going on in the 50's and 60's when folks were getting into flying - mainly, everything about it was cheaper. Everyone says “Oh, yeah, my dad had a plane.” “Was he like a doctor or something?” “Nah, he was a regular guy” I want to say I did an inflation adjustment on a new 172 in early 60's and
