Seems less intrusive than the Christmas event, which is a good thing.

@Dr Durdon: It doesn't match the games mood at all. The games mood isn't "creepy" or "lonely," it's cheesy and macho. That's the whole reason I like Gears.

This game sounds like it will have political commentary. A group forced to leave their home, only to return much later to find a new group has settled in. When the old group returns they isolate the new group, who eventually find it in them to fight the people they presume are invading.

Unlike most, I actually love both the movies. Though the tone of each is different they are both good in their own ways, and Riddick is such a badass character. I'd probably be more excited about a new Riddick movie than any other movie announcement, so its good to see these people are as into the franchise as I am.

Is this like an actual expansion with a complete story and everything, or some kind of like dungeon pack. It's just called an "Adventure Pack", and why is it published by not Obsidian?

@Vash21: Yea, but you have to buy a PC atleast that often (most do far more often). Just put in a little extra cash when you do.

When companies break up and form new companies, it always makes me wonder how those who are left out feel. Probably pretty left out :<.

AoE and AoK are what got me in to history in the first place, something I'm now pursuing a degree in and couldn't imagine studying anything else.

Final Fantasy

I'm working my way through this now, so this is sort of neat in its timing.

Does like, Phantasy Star I even exist? It never gets released on these compos (and yea I know it was on the Master System and not the Mega Drive, but some of these comilations are supposed to include bonuses (boni?) from arcade and Master System). Plus, when making DL titles like in this particular case, it makes even

For someone with such an awesome name, American McGee looks disappointingly normal :(.

I'm a diehard original UT fan (UT>>>>Quake 3), it's one of those titles that, like Diablo II, Warcraft III and AoK, are always on my system, or are atleast reinstalled every year.

Is it just me or does that COD5 description seem like its aimed to inform, as well as amuse?

It wasn't broken, just unfinished (from an after-patch perspective). That means they needed more money/time, which this news suggests isn't going to happen.

That means I'll have to pay full price :<. I bought P3: FES for $25 new. This one, it will be released at full price and will go out of production long before a price reduction ever happens.

*shrug* I actually have bought a lot of games at Blockbuster. They have a decent selection of PS2 Greatest Hits/good games on the cheap. They don't carry PC games though (my primary platform) so most of mine are bought at Futureshop. Microplay's probably next. I pretty much only go to ebgames or walmart if I'm

Almost blew a gasket when I read Vista...then I was relieved to see XP abnormaly located after.
