PS3 will probably do pretty well this season, but it won't shatter any expectations. They have a fantastic lineup of exclusives (LBP, Motorstorm2, Resistance) and multi-plats, but 360 has an equally impressive bunch of both (GoW2, Fable II).

114 DVD's seems really high for an average of DVD's. Though I don't know what a "DVD household" is.

Criticising AAA studios for art direction will only bring ridicule, unfortunately.

@Pezdispenser: All of your arguements could be applied to any sport. Is soccer itself a sport?

@Shteve: I actually thought that was sick. I wish more action adventure games had easier mid-range combat. For the sake of fun in an action game, you shouldn't need to be right in a guys face shooting him in the head to kill them. A game where you have very accurate (and therefore less accurate to real life :}) gun

I went to two stores yesterday, and neither one had it in stock (yet?). I guess I'll have to wait a bit.

I can't get over how much the box art looks like the first GRAW's box art...

This still has atleast the same BC as the slim right? I'm buying a PS2, don't really care about anything other than that it can play my PS1 games.

I was all ready to pay like $80 for this, and I almost never buy games at release. I just want to support their move to not only make real PC games, but to actually support it after release.

When Clive Barker, Sid Meier, Tom Clancy or American McGee get their name on a box, it's just a lazy attempt to sell more copies. I mean, Tom Clancy doesn't even have to be involved in a game anymore to have his name on the box.

I wonder if Harvey Smith got the axe? I remember watching that Warren Spector lecture/interview with him, and I got the impression that when they brought him on well into the process of Blacksite: Area 51 (Austin's last project), that he felt that there was only so much he could do to try and save the project.

@Coquiton: I'm more concerned that I won't have time to play all the big games.

*shrugs* I bought the Diablo collection the day after D3 was announced. I already have 2 copies of D2 and LoD, but my 2 bros might want to play.

I'm gonna buy a PS2 in the next few months. The new games are cheap and the used one's are cheaper (and extremely numerous). It's the perfect time to grab a dirt cheap console for many hours of gameplay.

For those willing to look a little harder (and by that I mean, it's right on the home page), Midway already offers Joust, Defender, Spy Hunter, Rampage, Tapper and others for free. Why would I want to pay $5.00 or buy them in a bundle?

Ugh, I'm disqualified anyway. Just ignore this all.

What I really meant (now that I've reread the rules):

500 KP - Nintendo Wii gets a workable online service. (100:1)

@EloraHRanma: Yes, I got into the room for both true endings (as well as reloading and watching one of the false endings). It was pretty terrible. Spread across a few hours of game I wouldn't complain, but they told most of the games story in about 4 minutes. It's hard to swallow that kind of garbage when it isn't

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is really much better patched. I just played it for the first time a few weeks ago, and aside from one AI bug and a few minor things it was a blast.
