The vast majority of pickup trucks are vanity mobiles. If you go to an actual construction site, the real work tends to be done by commercial vehicles (i.e. dump trucks, cement mixers, etc.). Trades people are better served by vans so they have tool/part storage out of the elements. Your average F-150 is far more

Like the S&P500?

It used to be that Congress would give the various executive agencies the power to enact regulations, since they had the scientists and other smart people to do so. As evidenced by the anti-vax push, the ultra-right is moving forward with its anti-intellectualism campaign.  We are rapidly headed toward another Dark

Anyone remember that old story that people used to tell? The one where NASA spent years and millions of dollars developing a pen that worked in zero-gravity while Russia just used a pencil.

Trump thinks electric planes will only run on solar power and electric boats will immediately sink from the batteries that the planes can’t have. But let’s all pile on Biden for stumbling on his words during one debate and demand he give up!

At this point I hope they keep Musk and his stubborn ways until the bitter end when the big investors and loyalists finally have to realize that the company just isn’t worth it’s valuation and it falls HARD as the rats scramble to jump from the dying ship.

The car almost blends in with the pavement in that photo. It really is a terrible color.

Heaven forbid Trump gets back in office; his policies will destroy the economy and our standing in the world, and then of course he will blame it all on Biden — and his supporters will wholeheartedly believe him.

We can’t write about cars anymore because of woke.

I was talking to an Uber driver.  His first car was a Prius.  He sold it and got a Lexus hybrid.  Said that after 14 hours in a Prius, his back hurt too much.   Given this dude’s commute distance and location, he might be similar in time.

I’m a liberal and Jalopnik routinely embarrasses me. They are on that edge of wokeness where the writers are just dicks. Title of this article is a prime example. If you hate capitalism, write an article about hating capitalism. Don’t write a dickhead article about a rich person that never did anything to you. You

Jealousy at it's finest

This is actually absurd that Jalopnik would even post this.... I will no longer be supporting Jalopnik because this is just stupidity. First of all, the editor has no clue what he is talking about and has never driven in a competitive series in his life. Lance Stroll won every karting championship in North America and

I actually think the newest Prius actually looks pretty slick. Definitely the best looking of all of them to my eyes by far. (The 3rd gen was also decent looking -for a Prius).

Have you looked at housing costs in any major US city recently?

Yea but the 5.0s are just so much more fun though. On E-85, they are hard to beat on a roll.

Cruising I think averaged about 17 mpg? Of course getting into it drops down to 13-14 mpg.

Something both those cars have is a bubble/squared roof, not fast back/sloping like a lot of coupes
