I’m not sure I follow your logic here. Here is the analogy that I use, striking and grappling is like running and swimming. You can tell the average untrained person to get into a punching match with someone else and they may do just fine...just like if you told them to run without any type of instruction.   However,

On that last one - given what I see all the time filling up at Costco (where our Canadian friends come and fill up all kinds of interesting containers to bring home as much cheap fuel as they can), I’m constantly amazed at how few actual gas station disasters seem to be happening. Hey, there’s a reason why that

Why were the democrats so against this bill? It makes no sense.

Funny Oregon gas pump story: I used to own an Ariel Atom. I would show up at the pumps, and hop out, and the attendants would look at me from a distance and say “I’ll just let you do that yourself”, and I’d nod.  So, not only did it intimidate kids from wanting to drag race me, it also intimidated fuel attendants into

Oh no.... anyway.

Owning an older BMW i3 with a range extender (the REX rarely gets used since we don’t do road trips in it), I think that Mazda is “barking up the wrong tree”. A REX adds complexity and made/makes far more sense when the main batteries were less efficient/came with less capacity. If people are going electric, they want

Wish they didn’t axe the V6 1LE (well, before axing the whole model)

Personally, I would choose an Evora over the Elise if daily driving falls anywhere within the “sort of” category. Although the Elise is razor sharp at handling, they are absolutely tortuous to be in for more than 30 minutes, especially if you’re on the taller side. Service can also be a pain depending on location.

They have literally been doing their best to ruin the user experience as much as possible. Everything is designed to maximize clicks/views while ignoring that users who don’t like the changes will simply stop returning at some point.

But the sticker says “Collectors Edition!”

even the best investment cars can’t keep up with a basic index fund

For a new owner to take on this rare and uber-low-mileage Lincoln there’s the small matter of the $59,900 asking price. That has recently been lowered from $65K and is a far cry from the $105K that was asked for the car in a previous attempt at a sale back in 2022.

“From a private collector’s car fault. Wait til you hear the unbelievable story.”

Actually they are WORSE than the person shitting in the pool, they upper deck your toilet.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Okay now use this as a way to get the Hyundai N Vision 74 into our hands.

BMW always had rather ugly rear ends. The M8 was the first 2000s BMW that I though looked great all around. Maybe the F80s were good looking to.

I work at an OEM and yes, they will 100% be watching registration data

Dealers in the CARB states worry they’ll be at a disadvantage if consumers start crossing state lines to buy gasoline vehicles from another store’s inventory rather than wait for a factory order.”

This has to be a move to inflate the plug ins sales. They need to move the better MPG versions to pay less in penalties so limit gas by any means. It does not hurt that the profit margins are better. CARB is just the red herring, this is more about capitalism than environmentalism.
