Coupes are thought of as ONLY 2drs ONLY in North America.

Ford should have realized that battery prices would only temporarily remain elevated and kept MSRP on the Lightning low. I think they compounded the damage to the Lightning’s reputation by jacking up MSRP.

After all- most cars are configured and ordered by dealers

And kinda popular.

Who makes the Miata automatic?  Is it a in-house design?  I looked online and couldn’t find anything.

OIL IN THE ENGINE WIRING HARNESS + things ruined by said oil

These are mostly generic 15 year old car fixes. That’s about when all the rubber bits in the engine bay and suspension start degrading. It’s just that people driving around 2009 Altimas DGAF about the squeaks, rattles, tramlining, etc that this stuff causes.

LCs are rare, sure.  But it’s not like Lexus is an exclusive brand.  They are one of the best selling luxury brands in the USA.  And the LC has a Lexus corporate front end, so it passes a regular old Lexus.  You could definitely walk by one in a parking lot and never notice.

Lacking in the style department though. No matter what Jalops say, wagons / crossovers are not stylish.

The LC is of course sleek and fast,

Or you could compare it to the Telsa 4 door on the market right now.

The dude is wrapped in cheetos sweats, driving a cheetos-themed car.  The mschf boots are the least cheesy thing going on in this picture.

If by “best sport sedan” you mean, “mediocre wanna-be muscle sedan” sure.

It’s not really “butchering” a word if it’s a legitimate pronunciation based on the spelling. If the brand wants English speakers to pronounce their brand a certain way, then they need to spell it that way (or rename it, that’s okay too).

I agree that truck prices are insane now, but truck prices have been insane for a while now. A 2010 Silverado 2WD extended cab, which was a mid-spec truck, was $37k in 2010, or a hair over $50k now.

> Total pickup sales fell 6.4 percent, including a 31 percent plunge for midsize nameplates.

People say better? Or funner?

I don’t think Ford can replicate the success of Maverick. It was designed to be fuel efficient from the start and sacrifices a lot of truck things in order to achieve that efficiency. It was a success because it is a contrarian gambit; being a small, truck focused on efficiency in a market where buyers demand huge,
