> It’s actually a great deal compared to the Supra.

This is a solid replacement for the Maxima, which hasn’t been a “four door sports car” in 20 years.

Most of these are not the red sports, but the basic 300HP model. And lets not forget that they tip the scale at 3900lbs and the wheelbase is 12" longer (!!).

Time for those “Activist Investors” to give Musk more to complain about.

>I know couldn’t tell you 3 vehicles made by the OEM I work for and it is in the top 3 producers in the world.

There are some people who want cars built by a white supremacist POS con-man. But they don’t want EVs.

How’s another disappointing economy car going to save their reputation?

Anyone mourning the IDx who doesn’t have a BRZ, 86, or 370Z in the garage was never going to buy it. They’d just find an excuse why it was inferior to Mustangs/Camaros/GTIs then drive away in their CVT Rogue.

Finally, a real answer!  (someone seriously suggested a Chevy sedan...)

>I doubt the repo will be enough to shock her and her husband into a state of financial awareness.

Tahoes are status symbols and are priced accordingly.

> adding everything I quickly could to get the price up, and it was literally $79k.

> I know way too many people

Everyone loves a good video about people being bad with money. I guarantee I’ll be seeing this post around in my financial news feed.

It’s not $36k though, not really. Generally, to compare car prices in UK vs. USA, you just replace the £ with a $. So a £28k would be roughly $28k. Remember that taxes are included in the price for UK vehicles. And this is a top spec trim, which is 30% more expensive than the base.

Generally speaking, car prices are 1:1 £:$, even if the currency exchange rate isn’t. So would be a $28k vehicle in the USA.

I think most people wish for this, hence the death of the sedan.

>It does still look like the front and back were designed by two different people

You can’t deny that the Aztek goes down as one of the most prescient cars ever. They straight up knew the Lifestyle Crossover was the vehicle of the future. What they didn’t consider is that brand is important for Lifestyle products, and Pontiac didn’t have the cache to pull off the Aztek.
