I would say at least half of the general public ARE keen for tougher emissions laws because people generally like breathing clean air and not having asthma attacks.

Luxury SUV buyers are more image conscious than other buyers.

You got the 392 tho. That’s one of the most absurd (in an awesome way) vehicles ever sold and is priced with that in mind.

I don’t think people around here realize how expensive Wranglers have always been. Sure, the stripper sport models have reasonable MSRPs, but those are relatively difficult to get and options add up fast. In the 90s, optioning the six cylinder pushed the price into the 20s, and there were plenty more options to add.

That won’t happen.

Butt busting, spine rattling, kidney shaking, whiplash inducing car is somehow luxury now.

Jeep has always been a blue collar luxury brand with the highest trim levels having eye watering price tags. There’s a reason for the stereotype of the rich guy/girl in high school getting a new Wrangler.

Winter tires are unnecessary for most people anymore. Tire tech has evolved so much in the past decade that there are plenty of all season tires out there that can handle tons of snow and not be destroyed during summer driving. I stopped using winter tires (which I mean to be, severe snow service rated) on my daily

They were necessary on the 300SL. I would argue that there has never been another successful implementation of gullwing doors. They’re just pure gimmick.

Being a tesla or Elon supporter is basically the same as being a QAnon nut at this point.

They are sweet, but the vehicle has to be minivan-sized for them to work (or, at least have a massive cargo space behind the second seat.

The dealership is getting so much free advertisement from this.  As they say, there’s no such thing as bad publicity.

If there was some way to make a 12% ROI on this, it’d’ve been done by now.

People (read: republicans) will just blame EVs and green energy for using up too much power and not producing enough of it, respectively.

Part of me feels like an idiot that I couldn’t tell that it was a Merc, but I’m not the only one around here that thought so.

You have some cajones to call the Roadmaster ugly around these parts.

Probably the OH SHIT MY PARENTS ARE GOING TO KILL ME FOR DESTROYING ANOTHER CHALLENGER WHILE STREET RACING! thought to pass.

These guys were street racing on a single lane residential street. It looks like Challenger might have gone in to pass the Altima and Big Altima Energy had to show him what the VQ could do (or, more likely QR).

Can we maybe stop shoving video content down our throats? I see a link to this video multiple times per visit. If people haven’t clicked on it the other 50 times they saw the link, they probably don’t care now.
