EV road taxes are fine. Yeah, there’s an undercurrent of culture war BS fueling it, but it still needs to happen. However, it should be tied to gas taxes, IMHO, meaning, EVs should, for now, be taxed as though they purchased some fixed amount of gasoline. Thus, to raise taxes on EVs, you have to also raise gasoline…

VW also chose a nice yellow-yellow for the Bug. It’s very “fruity” looking, almost like a candy.

These are quite nice. They have tons of usable space for a coupe and they make bonkers power. A friend of mine picked up an 2018 and took it to a local tuner and came back with 650hp.

Most GT2/3 RSs owners that actually drive them regularly on track wouldn’t realistically bat an eye at this. There is no substitute.

I’d say this style house is more the “push rod V8" of houses - it’s the cheapest way to get the most house (displacement) in the smallest physical space possible, so that you can shove that puppy anywhere. It fits just fine on a fifth acre lot (Corvette) but you can readily put one on2 acres (Silverado).
