So judging by your stats, it seems the real problem here is too many people driving big vehicles they can’t properly see pedestrians out of.......

That’s actually pretty good fuel economy, given the size, power, and aero of the bronco.

If your primary goal is to not blend in and have a good highway commute, the Bronco seems like a horrible idea.

Using the same search criteria, there’s 81k F150s, 20k Explorers, 11k Escapes, 11k Edges, 7k Broncos, 15k Bronco Sports, 6k Expeditions.

This probably only makes sense for people living in California or something.

I suspect the rich people buying these are buying them for the collector value. They are rare quirks of history, and we all know they are going to get mentioned in every list of, “weird vehicles you never knew about” in the future.

Look at the Honda Element.

wasn’t replaced by anything even remotely similar.

The point in buying one of these is for the collector value.

The USA has no facilities in place for states to leave the union.

Somehow I don’t think the V8 is bringing anywhere close to 2300HP to the table.

They really do have one of the best exhaust notes on around!

Why are people letting them go so soon?

You’re comparing a full sized sedan with a hatch to a bespoke muscle cars and sport compacts.

The takeaway is that there’s all kind of better options than a Stinger if you’re flexible. I mean, if you have to have a TTV6 in a four door car with a weird lift back, that handles like crap, sure Stinger is the answer.

They needed to sell the hybrids to inflate their CAFE figures.

I’d be interested in a Maverick ST with the 2.3 Eco boost shoved in there.

The hybrid was a CAFE inflation car. Ford didn’t expect people to want it anymore than people wanted the C-max. Of course they put minimum effort into it so they could keep the price down, because they expected to dump them on fleets for huge discounts.

JFC, Ford really had no idea what the hell they were making here, did they?

These are heavy - more muscle car than sporty car. And, while they aren’t slow, they also aren’t keeping up with the faster cars on the market. A bone stock 5.0 10AT Mustang will obliterate a FBO V6 Stinger in a drag race (I’ve seen it), and on back roads.
