These were terrible cars. The ergonomics sucked, the top sucked, the engine sucked, the transmission really, really, really sucked. They did handle quite well though.

The reason they are lacking in workers now is because during and after the GFC, they fired or didn’t hire young people who graduated in the 00s. So those kids went on to get college degrees to wait out the recession.

They are taking a supra and turning it into a shooting brake.

Out of all of the work that went into this concept, this was among the easiest to do.

Adding to this, the Q8 E-tron has the benefit of a pretty aggressive, wheelspin-free launch. So it probably doesn’t feel nearly as quick as a ICE car with a similar 0-60.
