I’m surprised that Australia doesn’t make the move to LHD. I would think that better alignment with the USDM would foster better trade between the two and potentially bring back more vehicle manufacturing.

This seems like a rather extreme response when they could either, keep it in the garage for a few months before getting it fixed, or take it to a repair shop who obviously won’t ask too many questions especially if you pay with cash.

True ... It’s surprising when I am driving on the interstate and I find a pickup truck that’s cleaner than my Miata (mostly because I daily that thing)
1. Stop giving EVs ungodly amounts of horsepower.
This is awesome. But it has the same issues I have with other full sized trucks: it won’t fit in my damn garage. And I have a relatively large garage for being attached to a house.
The problem with the Corolla hybrid is that the Prius exists. The (base) Prius is cheaper (than the Corolla hybrid), plus you get a hatchback, nicer interior, and better fuel economy.
