Not so sure about this. This would mean an increase in torque from 338lb-ft to 375 at 7000 RPMs. Even if they bumped peak power RPMs to 7500, the engine still needs a torque bump to hit 500hp.
Before you ask, no the Audi A5 Sportback, Polestar 2 and Kia Stinger do not count as hatchbacks. They’re fastbacks. It’s different.
Rav4 Prime.
The omission is odd, especially as other similar ’80s and ’90s JDM icons
Civil Asset Forfeiture isn’t a good thing when it’s used against people who have not committed a crime. When it’s used against criminals it’s a wonderful thing.
Given the drastic shift in the EV market between 2017 and today, I think the transition is going to happen well before 2035. Car companies are not hiding the fact that this is the last generation of gas powered versions of many models. And most are also outright admitting that they are eliminating R&D on gasoline…
I love uber crossover/SUVs. They have more than enough capability for the street, while being able to haul all kinds of shit when necessary, and the family likes to ride in it.
I could say the same thing about some toyota owners.
I was all in until I saw 180hp.
These aren’t too bad to maintain. I had one from 100k to 240k and did a clutch, axles, brakes, a few sensors, the trim around the windshield, and maybe a few other bits and bobs.
Yeah, the GT86 is very much a spiritual successor to the Celica. I owned both and they were absolutely very similar cars. The Celica was lighter, had better steering, and had a much, much, much, much better engine. But the 86 was more fun, being RWD.
The 2ZZ had a flaw with a bolt in the head that could sheer during the transition between cam lifts. There was a recall for this a long time ago.
Agreed, these don’t get much love around here, but my GT-S ranks as my favorite car ever.
Weird. The cars presumably have a clutch switch used to determine if the car should start or not. I cannot understand why their cruise control logic couldn’t read from both the brake and clutch switch to kill the cruise control.
better than AWD.
Hyundai-Kia is the best run automobile company in the world right now.
Seems like a nice alternative to the NV200 or Transit Connect. Assuming one could remove the seats.
The old S-197 was a great chassis on the track too.
I’ll be honest: I’d love an N version of this. With the 2.5 turbo and AWD.
