Just not sure I would be able to get into it- not having played the first that's all

It would seem that way, bugs have been around forever but like you said times have changed and it seems that getting a game out ASAP is more important to some bigger companies than it is to take their time and actually make sure the game is good to go before it's out the door!

PC Games could do that kind of thing, but what about console games? :D

Giving a star so you're out the greys- but I think you replied to the wrong comment!

Not even reported in magazines? Not so much in the ways of "bugs" but things that shouldn't be.

Pretty much answers yes, it's more about asking if you went back in time a bit- sure a broken or controversial game can be patched these days, but back in the earlier days, probably PS2 and before really. I'm guessing same kind of thing though, you couldn't fix it and thus would have to face the consequences!

I'm curious what happens to a major game when some kind of backlash or controversy happens, but in the past....if that makes sense. Sure now you can do patches and everything happens over the internet but what about older games that didn't have that kind of "tech"?

Not gonna lie even though I only got to play a bit of the trial and don't actively play WOW, I doooo like the look of this place! GO GREEEEN

I think I got both of those via Humble Bundle, Dear Ester I enjoyed chilling out on and...AMFP I haven't even played...I guess I'm not all big on horror and I hadn't played the first one soooo

Each have their strong points~ =w=

Had a bit of a lame afternoon I guess :( Something I had planned has be cancelled as I've been called in to work on Saturday and it's thrown me off completely...I'll shush about it so I don't just ramble blind.

Okay...so most of them. Point is those games are rushed out and usually bugged or shit anyway.

The two cross over most of the time :P

Those can all be baked into an engine nowadays, any old joe can whip out unreal engine and start making shit with some learning and tutorials.

Takes more effort to make it engaging story and environment-wise and not a pew pew pew gameplay reliant slogfest.

HD? Please...320x224 is the way~

Because effort! Why hold your phone in 2 hands when you only have to use one!

...it begins.

That's handy- you can watch the cooldown go down on a suitable device!
