I think it's more about choice rather than just the social aspect- people obviously enjoyed doing things or watching others go at it solo- but Bungie are taking that away. The social aspect is still and always has been (I assume) there but it's like they are clipping off bits time after time rather than adding on…

Yeah it was a lil' bit similar in Little Big planet- you paid for the extra content being costume parts, packs and stickers etc (though sometimes timed events let these be free albeit rare-ish) but you didn't need to buy them to play levels using them!

Usually it's not the DLC that's the issue- it's just the many ways players are cheated out of a game- if it's MAIN game stuff...no- don't make it DLC.

There are plenty of black consoles, just look at the Megadrive, the Saturn, the PS2, PS3, Xbox, Ps4 and Xbox One...
