There is also a lot of "behind scenes" drama regarding it too- such as some rather foul code in earlier versions, the author being a complete douche, many people not being credited for their content being used and so on- it's a bit of a sour subject to some in the Doom community. I've never actually eaten one of these things...what are they really like?

Somehow I can see this being a project somewhere along the line...

I play via a Source port- but to be honest? Most of the people I've seen that talk about it...are pretty much that. Either "lolblood" or "lolgore" or "lolviolence" or "lolgunsmurrica".

I've always wondered about repainting smaller things like this- I've got a few of those Pokémon figures and have been meaning to repaint them a little better...but I've not really known where to start.

I've played it- and it's just gore, explosions and violence. Nothing of interest to me. There are hundreds of much more interesting mods for Doom than BD.

* More than one- it's a Megawad = Most of /32 maps replaced.

I would love to see a re-re-release of Rez- it's a shame the HD version only came to the Xbox360 and not PS3 considering the PS2 and Dreamcast is what people know it from...

Nice to see other map-packs being shown off! There are dozens and dozens of recent Doom related projects that a just swept under the rug because of THAT mod that everybody only seems to care about D;

No. Not everything needs BROOTAL DUM NOW PLZ and this is a Megawad to celebrate what Doom is not some overplayed over-credited mod that people seem to spout whenever Doom is mentioned now.
