So I was in third grade in Lizardman territory when he “appeared” the first time around. It has become a running joke around here in SC. So much so that a few years ago, I attempted to write a nanowrimo novel with the Lizardman as a protagonist. It was a YA romance. Don’t judge me. :)

Thank you so much. Money sent.

Does she have a defense fund that I can support?

Which Nazi are we talking about? (I’m joking. I’ve considered sending the Nazi puppet master a case of scotch just to speed his demise along.)

The asking “what’s the worst that could happen” is a trick my therapist taught me to deal with my anxiety. I don’t think she expected me to say “That I’ll lose my job and house and live on a box in the street.” Granted, it does help sometimes. Losing my job actually was instant stress relief and I felt better.

Yep....

History is my weapon of choice in this particular fight. This feels very much like what happened in SC post civil war. I shared this to my Facebook page...

A palmetto tree surrounded by two oak trees. I grew up in the swamps. Everything looks like trees to me.

Red Dawn (the first movie) is a good choice to go with childhood nuclear drills in your local elementary school.

Collins is the 19th century version of the “Nice Guy.” He thought he deserved the prettier more vivacious girl because he was willing to have her despite all her disadvantages.

Also agree. My only problem is that it wasn’t long enough and skips a lot. But the feel was true to the book. I loved the costuming, the sets, and the cinematography a lot. That scene with Darcy coming across the meadow....

Exactly. :)

It doesn’t matter. I have had cuddly male kitties and cuddly female kitties. And kitties who were male and female who were more standoffish. All kitties are good kitties. (Says the person who would totally go up and pet a tiger if she could.)

Y’all are my people.

Like my cat was found outdoors in a cat box in the snow in Ohio. She had been declawed and was left to die. A friend of mine found her and told me she was bringing me a cat back from her brother’s wedding. If I put her in the cat box to take her to the vet, she cries. I feel terrible. Like not all cats are created

My cat is terrified of the outside. Terrified. I once accidentally left my door open. Found her hiding under the ottoman curled up in fear. She is fine being spoiled and petted and fed food all indoors.

Do not feel alone. I harbored a crush from the age of 9 - 20 on a very cute blonde boy with blue eyes in my class. He turned out okay though. I went to his wedding. He and his wife have three kids. He’s an engineer. Very nice family. Meanwhile, I’m a happy single woman with a cat and no kids.

Only one of my bullies was a girl. All the others were male and as we got older the situations got sexual and merged into assault. Honestly, there were girl bullies in my school too, but I didn’t really care to hang out with them so that helped them lose some power over me. My goals in school were to do well, read

Why don’t they just downsize to a smaller house with actual rooms.

It was really great. I was inspired to go and create a playlist of all my favorites after watching it.
