W’s words sound like basic christian from Texas. Donald Trump signed his autograph like the star he is....God, why do I wish W were still our president? I don’t like W.

I’ve been trying to preach this to my friends on my wall.
Thank you for the update.
He had a much bigger vocabulary in the 80s and 90s. He was still an awful person, but he was an awful person with a better vocabulary.
I prefer the humorous Bond as well. I will miss Sir Roger.
Pretty much....signed someone from rural SC.
I don’t know that I agree with you. I will say that I think Sanders lost the primary because while he excited a lot of us that are younger voters, he didn’t excite the older crowd and he didn’t connect very well with older minority voters (at least in SC.) And while that sucks, it is also reality.
Ditto. I supported Sanders in the primary and I would have voted for the devil himself if he was running against Trump in the general. And as a realist, I don’t think that Sanders would have done any better than Clinton did in the general and he would have maybe done worse. The anti-semitism of evangelical…
I have flagged several of his comments as hate speech....always a good way to fight the trolls.
I learned to crochet so I wouldn’t have to worry about my nice needles.
If they’d slid your stitches off, no jury of your peers (knitters) would have convicted you. I often fly with my Indian co-worker. I have seen people giving him the side-eye. It annoys me. TSA once pulled him out of line because he was carrying his security fob in his pocket.
I fly with knitting needles and scissors to cut yarn all the time.
My uncle was her 5th child and her only child of her second marriage. My dad’s dad died when he was 37 and she was 35 so there was a several year gap between my aunt (her only girl) and my youngest uncle. He’d been sick with what I think was a brain tumor for a few years. My grandfather (my uncle Mike’s father) was…
I am a Gen Xer. :) So yes, that was what I was talking about. My grandma had her first child (my dad) at 23 and my uncle at 40.
Pre - birth control lots of women had children later in life. My grandma was over 40 when my youngest uncle was born and lots of other women her age had kids when they were older as well (at least in my area.) Funny, how a generation later having kids at 35 was old and now we are back to it being relatively…
100% agree. I liked what they did with Archie over the course of the series. I also loved Edith a lot too. I think you could do an academic class on that show and how it reflected the times. I’m from the South and I’ve known my fair share of bigots and during that time period, they somehow did get better. Archie…
If they won’t let New Orleans destroy them, then New Orleans should put up “markers” that tell the explicit truth about the monuments and what they represent. Preferably over the top of the of the words that honor these awful people. I would contribute to that go fund me.
He was a quality actor with a lot of range. There was a lot of nuance in that role. That whole show and cast was really great. I think a lot about the sitcoms in that period and it was truly a Golden Age. All In the Family, Good Times, the Jeffersons, Maude, even WKRP....They all took on relevant topics that maybe…
This was my exact thought.
A really terrible All In The Family where Archie is portrayed as a good guy and not an anachronistic old man?
