As a writer I cannot imagine the agony of blogging from a phone or iPad. Your being able to do that is impressive to me.

I use mine to get in the carpool lane with the baby in the back. They’re invisible to a cop so I like to think it’s saved me a few pullovers.

Didn’t Bernie Madoff send out a similar email around 2007?

YEAH RIGHT. Lochte can’t be expected to be smart enough to know that a wall is not a bathroom and that a security guard is not a cop, and that a gun not being put to his head is not a gun being put to his head.

That’s just how we do it. You set them up, and then 3 years later I knock them down. In 2019 I’ll have a killer urban yogi joke.

Some people use syrup, I prefer jelly.

The amount of the reservation hasn’t gone up to $7,300. You’re just committing to buying whatever they deliver. Again this doesn’t change things should this become vaporware. And it isn’t forcing you the write them a $7,000 check today. Just forcing you to do that when they start being able to deliver.

Get a super hot cast iron skillet. Throw in boneless skinless thighs and cook until a hard outer shell forms. Flip and put in a hot oven. Top with bbq sauce. The thigh meat basically fries in the grease.

But if I’m reading it right it isn’t any different of a commitment if the car isn’t made. The difference is that if the car is made and you hate it, you still have to buy it. Before you had two options if you hated the final car; lose your deposit or buy the car. (for the who chose non-refundable deposit)

Good point to bring up, but kids meals at some places really are big enough for adults. I find that a better strategy to use is to buy one adult meal and a kids meal and share among 2 adults and a kid. Helps with portion control for me too, and all three of us get some extra variety.

Yea, you did right. Every bit as good as an upababy for 1/3 the price.

The City Mini isn’t even a high end brand. (also have one) I agree with your assessment that as price increases so does quality; to a point. The problem is there are some very high end brands out there as well. And there is certainly a lot of brand snobbery by new parents; and also a fair amount of “look at what we

I laugh at those parents who carry everything on earth with them. Almost like they forget that if live in an even semi-populous area there are these places called “stores” that you can run into and buy whatever you might need.

Yes, but I’ve driven both and the 2000 is exillarating through even the smallest curves and the miata makes you forget you’re going 80 through a freeway bend. They’ve bred the fun out of the cars in order to make them safer.

Driving an old small car had way more thrill than driving a new small car. They still exist. Smart 4-2, fiat 500s, miatas and some others. The curb weight of the Datsun 2000 you have in the title image is only about 200 lbs lighter than the 500 or a new miata. The problem is that in an old small car you were 5" from

Oregon? WHY. Crossing off my “when I win the Lotto” list of states to retire to.

2 Pancakes? That’s sad.

Can’t tell if you’re reading my comment correctly so I’ll be clearer: There never were good old times. People just forget the bad and recall only the good.

Ahhh yes. The ‘good old days’ everyone wants us to go back to. Hard to imagine this is within most people’s (or at least their parents’ ) lifetimes.

And if airlines were reasonable there would be no need for these laws.
