I picked up all the Sun Stones in Kirby Triple Deluxe. I'm tempted to take on the arena, but also kind of ready to move on to something else. Haven't played much else, my hour-plus commute to my new job really eats into my free time and it seems like I have something to take care of in the evenings this week.
I'm with you on the music thing. I bought it and quit an hour in. If you're not opposed to emulation, someone here said the GBA version's ROM has been hacked to splice in the SNES music.
"N*gga Wake up Call" sounds like a great episode of The Boondocks
Sarge really made the whole thing come together. He was funny in the workroom and freaking hilarious during the critiques. That guy belongs in front of a camera and not just because his gruff but open-minded personality makes me swoon.
Sarge was definitely serving some daddybear realness, and he was so fun and charming he damn near made the whole episode.
I've experimented with a few, but I think I'm going to stick with a Medium/Light character with a fast kart and good acceleration. I watched a few time trials, which was really helpful.
I've started a new job with a maddening hour-and-fifteen-minute commute, so I haven't had time to game like I would like. I wrapped up Kirby Triple Deluxe, whose finale was every bit as weird as @Drinking_with_Skeletons:disqus said it'd be. Basically, the whole game's plot and villain were revealed in the space of…
My trick with parrying the guardians' beams is to hit the button right when I hear the beep it makes as it fires. Of course you have to adjust the timing depending on how far away you are.
I said the same thing earlier. Put out Alpha 3 with online play and World Tour mode.
I have strong opinions about the direction Street Fighter and Final Fantasy have gone, have a super mushroom tattoo on my left arm, and listened to retro gaming podcast on my way to work this morning. So I definitely qualify as a gaming geek.

I've been on Grindr for years and never seen that feature. If it does have it maybe it's only for premium members. Even so if a 51 year old and a 19 year old want to have NSA sex, I don't see the problem as long as he follows the camp fire rule.
I definitely prefer the visual style and tag-team chaos of MvC, but the new look for MvC Infinite isn't very appealing. I have no doubt that the depth of this game's content will far exceed MvC:I though, which is one area Capcom never seems to address.
I can understand that, but the 'pilots' were really a series of short segments to sell relatively simple concepts. Maybe a bit more difficult than political ads but not by much. I would love more Workroom Ru and don't get why they mostly abandoned it for these forced 'issues' segments (not counting last night)
Wow, has a clear frontrunner ever faceplanted so horribly? I'd heard about who was going home this week, but I never imagined Valentina would screw up so horribly. Untucked shows her right after leaving the stage and it's tough to watch.
Season 8 had the political ads, which was similar in many ways to this one
Now that I've settled into my new place I start back up a lot of console games I had to put on hold, but my 3DS keeps drawing me in. I'm on world 5 of Kirby Triple Deluxe, which continues to be a delightful romp. They're not breaking the mold but they have just enough new stuff to keep me entertained.
I think Drag Race makes Alexis' weight an even bigger issue. Most of the queens are incredibly thin if not underweight so Alexis looks even bigger than she would among "normal" men
