That's definitely the case for me. They play CNBC on a TV near my desk constantly and I fucking hate it. Every time Trump is on the screen I stew for a few minutes. At least they have the decency to mute it. Ugh

I read there was something weird with the Wii U where if you changed the default resolution to 480p then went into Wii mode the games looked better. I wasn't sure I could tell a difference.
Including mobile data seems to bump up the price on devices $100 so I'm not surprised they left that out. Besides I have the option of Wifi hotspot if I really need it.
Gamecube games will probably look decent if they output in 720p/1080p. Dolphin emulators have been doing that for awhile. N64 games are just a lost cause.
NES and SNES games are available on the 3DS (SNES only on New 3DS). So those have been portable for awhile. I just hope they go the $1-2 upgrade route instead of making us buy them all over again.
Thanatophobia is an achievement I flirt with from time to time. It's a fun challenge, but I think the underground area will be my stopping point. I should give it another shot though.
Really? I never really gave Game & Wario a chance because I was annoyed it wasn't another WarioWare and the games didn't look fun (that find-your-friends-in-a-crowd game looked boring as hell)

If not the full game, they should've pre-installed a demo version of 1-2 Switch on the system. Let people try out 5-7 of the games, throwing in the 3 of the best ones and 2-4 of mid-to-lesser ones. The problem with party games for me is that you never know what your friends will take to. I couldn't get my friends into…
I'm going to finish Final Fantasy VI. If not tonight, tomorrow I swear. I was about 20 minutes into the Phoenix Cave the other night when an enemy counterattacked with X-Zone and wiped my whole party. So that was fun.
Yes, Chapter 13 is really, really bad. Just an endless series of corridors and for a lot of it you're running from enemies instead of fighting them.
RadioLab has an episode where they talk about some black students who challenged this style of debating and won: http://www.radiolab.org/sto…
"Archie Bunker for President" was a popular bumper sticker during its run.
Original Xbox had four controller ports.
I really failed to appreciate how significant stat bonuses are to turning your party members into powerhouses as a kid. It wasn't until I read a guide about min/maxing characters in FFVIII using the Guardian Force's stat bonuses that it really clicked.
Nah this is at least my third time playing through it. I had the "good outcome", although it took two tries and I had to look up how to 'refresh' the fish supply.
How did you abuse the game's systems? I just reached the WoR, but I was surprised at how quickly I took down the Atma Weapon. I gave Cyan an Esper with Strength+2 bonus and the Genji glove. He was wrecking shit all over the place.
I've reached the World of Ruin in Final Fantasy VI. I was doing fine until I went to save the kid trapped in the collapsing house and an enemy turned Celes to stone as its final move. Instant game over and I hadn't saved since right after Celes woke up in the WoR! Fortunately FFVI has my preferred method of fishing,…
I don't like the full-sized ones with their creepy, vacant eyes, but I'm a fan of the smaller versions. Unfortunately they sell those in bullshit "mystery boxes".
Gamestop has been pulling this shit for a long, long time. There were numerous stories about them lying about having new games back during the PS2/GCN/Xbox era.
