I've been playing a lot of Final Fantasy VI. I just wrapped up the opera house which was every bit as fun as it was 20+ years ago. It might not impress people nowadays but the whole scenario is so absurd, elaborate, and exciting in a way no FF has ever come close to since.

Well I wouldn't say 'stole' but I did see Seinfeld do essentially the same joke years ago.

I tried DQVIII about 10 years ago. I remember it required more grinding than I liked and I lost interest a few hours in. I like the idea of a fast forward for battle animations (really wish they'd put that in FFX HD), but I don't want to deal with the 3DS' small screen and downgraded music. Oh well.

PS4. I died a few times in both games, but anytime I fast travel somewhere or start a new chapter in FFXV it feels like it's an eternity before the game loads

I've played both The Witcher 3: Complete and Final Fantasy XV recently and the latter is much, much worse for load times.

Ultra SF II re-uses assets from Super SF II HD Remix. SSF2HDR was well-received at the time, but the hardcore SF 2 players went back to the original SSF2T pretty quickly. I think it might get some attention at a major or two, then it'll become a side tourney before being mostly forgotten.
