I experience something similar when it comes to my libido and winter. It starts in late September and doesn't subside until April/May. I don't lose ALL interest in sex, but it decreases considerably and I can't perform like normal.

Sonic Mania definitely isn't a system-seller, but the fact that I can play it on the go would be enough motivation to pick the Switch version over PS4.

I hope there will be a joy-con L controller with a D-pad released. I'd love to play Street Fighter games on the go, but I've never been able to pull off moves with an analog stick.

It will definitely not fit in your pocket unless you're wearing cargo shorts. The screen itself is 6 inches, plus there's the joy-con controller with analog sticks making it even bulkier.

I'm more disappointed that they're charging $60 for an enhanced MK8 port than that they ported it. MK8 is the best MK yet IMO, so I'm happy more people might play this one. They can always put out a proper MK9 2-4 years from now.

I'm at Gamestop and they say they'll be getting 34 nintendo switch units at this store, so that's a good sign

I've been making slow, steady progress in The Witcher 3. Recently I came upon a guy who killed prostitutes and had fought (but not killed) a friend of Geralt. The game gave me the option to kill him so, being disgusted by the dead hookers laying around, I did. Before he did it Geralt said "I can't let you get away

That page links to a bobanddavid.com page that appears to be in Japanese or something

He must've been hanging out with Terrence Howard

Well something must've heard my lament because he called me tonight! Still doesn't have a phone (borrowed someone else's) but he has a place to stay.

100% agree with this. I think FF7 is a great FF game and the most significant JRPG ever, but it's not the best game ever and not even the best FF.

I agree with DV about the animation. I also think cost became a factor. As the technology improved, game development costs soared. Once it became so expensive to make a FF game I think they were less willing to take risks, which is why FF games star characters with more 'traditional' anime looks nowadays.

Fuck whoever turned the channel CNBC on the TV near my desk. It was off for weeks but now I have to see Cheeto Benito's smug, shitty face every time I look up.

I finally finished I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings. I enjoyed the book but I don't know what the title has to do with her story.

Newman wins easily. Runner ups include Frank and Estelle Costanza, J. Peterman, and Tim Whatley

It was? It was uncomfortable, but I didn't think it was anything special.

I wasn't a fan of the Catmancer class. Really I've never been big on the Blue Mage classes any FF game. The spells you can get aren't that great IMO.

I remember liking it well enough at the time, but it definitely seems like another case of "saved by the writing".

We've got a major snowstorm this weekend, so my options might be severely limited. I've been playing through Trine 2 with my husband, which has been visually impressive for an indie game. A few times we've been stumped by a puzzle only to 'cheat' and have him levitate me past the obstacle.

A few endings are well-done but a lot of them are just silly. Several decisions made throughout the game change things here and there in the "main" endings.
