After a lot of aborted runs due to bullshit deaths and a brief period of time where I thought the challenge hadn't unlocked due to a bug or something, I completed the "Clear Classic at 7.0 or higher intensity" challenge in Smash Bros for Wii U! Now what meaningless task will I take on to unlock further challenges?

Hmmm I've never noticed lag times on MM3, and I have both the PS4 and 3DS versions of Legacy Collection. I'm 100% with you on the Rush Jet thing though.

It was the appearance of Wonder Woman and her theme that really made that scene fun.

Been running on the elliptical for 35 minutes a few times a week. I went down a notch on my belt so I'm doing something right!

"Freak Like Me" - Adina Howard
"Creep" - TLC (not really a sex song, more about infidelity)

Basically what I was going to say. Boys are seriously underperforming in schools compared to girls too. My question is, do the men in these boys' lives care about that? Is anyone emphasizing the importance of school to them? If enough men speak up they can start a conversation and bring about change.

Acting challenge was pretty weak, (do they do anything in these things besides yell and slap each other?) but the drama was great. I was trying to convince myself that Phi Phi was getting a bad edit, but it's clear that it's mostly her now. I knew something was up when they showed them going back to the workroom but

De-lurking to say I have a master's degree and feel like I have to wear nicer clothes, shop at more expensive places, and drive a nicer car before I can be considered bougie. I buy clothes that fit me well (You'll never see my trying to rock Wrangler jeans or something), but I wear the same pair of New Balances

Shovel Knight is an excellent piece of software and it has more free DLC on the way! A whole new quest is coming next year for the Spectre Knight.

What holds LA back for me is the GB's music limitations. As much as I like the Ballad of the Wind Fish some of the other tunes just grate on my nerves. I also have this problem with the Oracle games.

Yeah Kojima even admitted he swapped the character models for trailer footage. You can avoid a spoiler like that if you avoid certain forums where someone would try to ruin it for you. I avoided spoiling the Mass Effect 3 ending, all I heard was that it was 'bad'.

Don't have time to scroll through all the answers, but when it comes to video games there is one king of the bait-and-switch, Metal Gear Solid 2. All of the trailers show you playing as tough, grizzled Solid Snake. After the first two hours you learn that, no, the whole game will be played as whiny, blond-haired

I took advantage of the free weekend of Overwatch and had a surprisingly good time. After trying out about 10 of the fighters, I found I liked D.Va the best. The character designs were excellent, I pretty much found everyone appealing for one reason or another. I was about 50/50 on wins, with a few that came down to

I think Xbox's avatars are a bit better, but character creation tools in general are kind of lacking. It was a little disappointing when Nintendo launched the Wii U and the. exact. same. options where shown for Mii creation as the original Wii.

Hyrule Warriors is a Zelda-themed variation on the Dynasty Warriors series. Every mission involves capturing bases on the map. You capture them by going inside of the base and killing enough enemies until the keep boss (a moderately stronger enemy) appears and you defeat it. Also sometimes you have to fight classic

The "inching forward" trope is probably an attempt by developers to have the players do more than just sit there while a cinema scene plays. They probably think it's more immersive or something.

I remember seeing Heather Donahue on The Daily Show and she said "I got a wealth of experience from the movie", so that told me all I needed to know.

I wrapped up watching Superman: TAS via Amazon Video. I have an (admittedly strange) ritual of watching a kid's cartoon on Saturdays and Sundays. Not sure what I'll start next. Maybe Gravity Falls?

That happens in the next episode, so on the off chance someone watched Ramsay die but hadn't watched the following episode I wanted to be considerate. I err on the side of caution when it comes to spoilers.

Tig Notaro had a great bit about that when she did her routine about learning she has cancer.
